​​​Josep Buforn (piano)

​Born in Barcelona, he studied at the Conservatory of Music of the Liceu. He studied piano at The Associated Board of the Royal School of Music (England) and the Superior Conservatory of Music of Barcelona with Maria Jesús Crespo. He has received master classes from Luiz de Moura Castro, Nina Drath, Nina and Peter Bithell Svetlanova.

He is currently professor of piano accompanist and chamber music at the Conservatory of the Liceu and collaborates with the Cor the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Chamber Choir of the Palau de la Música Catalana and the Orfeo Català. Since 2001 is the pianist of the Orfeo Català Cor Jove.
